How do you unlock the snowy mountain portion of the game?

I found a path to the right if you take it you find the map. Once you find it once it comes up all the time.

Hi everybody. Like you, I was wondering where's is the secret path or the secret map to the snowy mountain area. Finally I found the answer, it's a device issue. The winter expansion, which includes Snowy Mountain Area, is available only for devices with 2 core CPU or higher, if you can't find the snowy area after a 6km drive, you won't find it never. So, if you want to ride your buggy in the snow, you need another device.
