How do you turn a wooden sword into a diamond sword?

U find diamond and build a new sword

Obviously you can't, because they aren't swords, and there isn't a cheat that helps with that. They are called machetes (MU-shet-EES) and you have to get diamond ore, take a stick, put it in the bottom middle crafting block, and place the diamonds in two block above it. Sorry to be cocky, but it's true.
