When the boss drops the weapon ball how do I open them?

Tap on the balls and there will be parts in it and tap on the parts

Make sure your game is updated. There was a bug with the update before the most current one that prevented the balls from behaving properly. When you tap them they're supposed to float to the center of the screen while getting bigger. Once in the center, you tap them to open them.
