U wait until the basketball appears then just keep shooting

The basketball NEVER appears. I've killed the boss numerous times and used sport balls but nothing. Tried the flippers but cant get 3 in a row. I get a puff of smoke but nothing.

The basketballs never appears anymore. Must be a glitch. I have tried everything. Even played the arcade score over 3k but no basketballs appears. Just a black poff of smoke.

I think if you kill the boss with the arcade games it usually gives you a basketball. I just can't figure out how to shoot them!
