Is this level solvable? How do you melt the apple so you can shoot it?

Shoot the lever at the bottom first. This will open the gate with the ball. Then shoot the ball so as to not have your alien fall on the ice area below. It should fit nicely into the first depression. Next shoot the tip of the gate with the bomb carefully so your alien flies off the left edge, and again not below. The bomb will fill the second depression. Now shoot the ice block apple and let it slide down past the ball and as soon as it passes the bomb quickly shoot the bomb. The resulting explosion will propel the ice block apple to the fire wall on the far right, melting it.
