You can make the set up look like a maze basically start out by covering the second row in front of your base filled up with fully upgraded turrets and missles with a slow mo tower every 2 to 3 towers built every 3 towers built.

All i did was upgrade it guns not rockets but upgrade rockets when u can put a stright line of guns but start with 2 slow towers and after every 4th gun place two mor slow towers upgrade them all once u have the line on both sides filled then under them lines put rockets dont worry about upgrading them if u cant pass 9 even with this help then theirs someting wrong lol im at level 70 now only had the game for 3 weeks and this helped me get threw it all on the higher levels thats when u want to upgrade ur rocket towers

Make it go zig zaag and in the centre of each row put an anti air cannon and on each side put surface to air things and next to that put any thing u want im at level 100 which is the last level and iv had it for 5 weeks

For me, well, I just started with a gun tower, then, just like what dhruv said, I made it look like a zigzag, but I still lost 11 out of 20 lives so, I just hope this helps

just keep repeating this. after u upgarde an air defense, built another tower, then upgrade land( fire tower n mortar). that should do the trick
