How do you get to the top of the politics career
Hi i've been playing for a few days and i've gotten up to being the vice president i think (i'm the one before the top job) so how do i get a raise now? i've mastered fishing, repairing and gardening and made friends with everyone and yet ruth still won't promote me!

That is because you were vice president already. You have to quit your job and start again. If you already have the skills you can ask for promotion inmediately.
