Well, I've been searching the internet like you, and also i know I'm super late on this but, oh well. Anyway there is a way to beat him.What you is save on DP by dueling cpu in free battle and keep doing it until you have saved up at least an acceptable ammount of dp i'd have to say 20k or 15k at least and buy the Dark Revelations part 1. There is a card named "Spell canceller". It can negate any spell card effect and lawton only uses spell cards and trap cards some monsters here there but not that effective but here is a list of cards you can get to beat him goblin thief, spell absorpion , numinous healer, soleman wishes, soul of the pure, emergency provisions, white magician pikeru and royal decree . If you use these cards right I'm sure that you can beat hi, i defeated him easily and make sure you have 40 cards to improve your chances of the right card hope this helped
