How to complete level 4 of The Crystal Staff of Lemurkhamen

I got all the penguins out of the traps, but then theres that big jump that not even Kowalski can get over with his double jump. Its the first pit with the purple icon that shows the penguins falling. I have no sweet clue how to finish that. I tried jumping and stacking up, but i cant get past, anyone know how(keep in mind im talking about the DS version)
