I can't get the crew and i don't know how to get the sword from arno, also i don,t know how to enter morgane's house, please help me if you can

Talk to pirates in the admirals rest carlo is wanting food, go to nell outside and buy chicken for carlo he wiil join your crew. all i have done so far hope it helps. do you know how to get into map room.
