First, find the 3 green parts. They are located in 1. The joker's mouth, 2. Climb up the magnet wall with Cyborg and pull the switch. 3. Use Superman's heat vision and cut the red wall. This really works! I've beaten the game!

For the DS version, you need to alternate between Superman and Green Lantern to keep destroying the shields. When it's gold, use Superman's heat vision. It's hard to target but it can be done.

When it's white, use Green Lantern- you will need to hold down the Y button to target the shield, and keep holding it until the target icon changes, then let go to fire.

Once you have destroyed the shields enough times, Luther will fire a laser that destroys the 3 stacks of black lego pieces which turns them into green pieces, and you will then be prompted to gather the green lego pieces to build the lantern's hammer and anvil to destroy the robot.

You will then be prompted to build Lex's destructor to shoot the robot, and then use a grappling hook to pull him out, defeating him.
