Fire flower in super mario 64

You can't get a fire flower, however, after you hit the? Switch at the Switch Palace, all the Red? Blocks should become solid. To do this, get 14 stars, play as Mario, and look into the light in the lobby by pressing X until it zooms into you, and hold up. Press the ? Switch, and exit the level by either falling down, or pressing start and exit course. Anyways, back to my main point. After do all of that, play as Yoshi and enter a course that has a Red ? Block. Hit one and a Power Flower will come out. Power Flowers give your character one of four powers, in this case, it gives Yoshi fire breath for a short time. You can also do this by swallowing fire in some courses like either one of the snow courses, and spitting it out, but instead of having it for a long time, you can only do this once, before having to go back to the fire and swallowing it again.
