Once you have 150 stars. go to the top of the castle as luigi,there will be a? box break it and get the power flower. now dash to the cannon and shoot luigi into the picture of peach. you will see a door with a backward L. open it and now you're waluigi

Catch the 8 glowing bunnies and get the star from the white door if you haven't already Then beat the final boss once. Immediatly after seing the credits, go to rainbow ride. Get 100 coins and a star will appear. However this star is purple. Grab it and the screen will white out. You then see Wart (Final boss of Super Mario Bros. 2) Defeat him by throwing crates at him and after three hits, he will pass out. You will receive a key with an waluigi cap on it. You will return to the castle inside the lobby. Go into the haracter room and enter the white door. You will hear some Boos scream. Finally, the door will turn purple and an upsidown L will appear. Waluigi will appear dancing out of the door. This was an example of a fake explanation. Unforntunately, all proof of Waluigi is fake so don't listen to any of it... (-_-)

I got a way! just...1) play as luigi 2) go into sunshile isles 3) get the koopa shell 4) let it last you the whole time its limited. 5) exit course 6) change to every charactor in this order:wario, then yoshi, then mario then back to luigi.7) make the game freeze then press and hold l r a and left all at the same time then b and down let go and finally start and select. you SHOULD be in the debug menu.8) shut it off then go back on. 9) there should be a purple door instead of a white door it will be locked (except if you have v1.1 then its not locked) if you have v1.0 its locked so do the following : be mario go do the 2nd level in bomb omb battlefield lose to koopa the quick he will give you a key. open the purple door then you got him!!! (note:you can have ar but useless except if you need the game to freeze then its usefull)

There is a sign under the star shrine in the pool in the castle backyard. It says L is 2,401. This means, provided that you got 150 stars and 2401 coins in your game history record total, it is said that you can unlock waluigi. Then you lose your caps. Mario luigi and wario can lose their caps in different courses. After that, enter the backyard with yoshi. The star statue in the pool is a block now with a waluigi cap with a upside down L on it. Put it on to morph into waluigi. Now you can see secrets in the castle. Run in and toward the front door, but triple jump over the foyer and you are in a hall. you get into the cannon and blast into the peach picture. you fall onto a ledge it says you need 151 stars for waluigi. Now, go back into the courtyard. You'll see a power star in the pool. Get it and Go into the secret hall above the entryway. You see waluigi picture. Jump in to fight tremendously giant huge piranha plant. Then there is a door, if you beat the plant you will have key with inverted L. Unlock Waluigi. Keep in mind-this is just a rumor and i'm not sure if it is true.

The other guy asked this question and i answered him that Waluigi is just a rumor, so it's not worth to believe. At least i dont think it's possible to get him, so.
