You dnt u trade a pokemon holding it from platinum

You can only get it from platinum and don't ask me why all i know is nintendo made it that way so ask someone with platinum to get shaymin get the gracidea flower from the blonde in the flower shop in floararoma town then use it the trade it to you. you might need to do it everyday because he turns back to normal shaymin at night and when you put it in the pc hope i helped :)))

The event ended a long time ago, but if you managed to catch Shaymin that's good. You get th Gracidea flower in floaroma town and a blonde girl gives you it. Enjoy. P.S This flower is only available on platinum.
