Can you really become the mayor?!
Okay so I heard from my friend that if you collect all the golden items you become mayor of your town. Is that true?! Because in the 3DS version that's probably coming out in September you are the mayor so maybe she got confused?! Help!

I do believe there is a point in time if you try hard enough and get all the golden tools, keep the town clean, and become liked by many animals in town then it is possible to become the mayor of your town.

NO. You can't become the mayor in ACWW, but you can on Animal Crossing: New Leaf (3DS) and it's coming soon.
