How do i get the puzzle piece in tugley woods?

Ive been stuck ooon this for about two months now. i cant get the puzzle piece that is floating like right underneath the wierd green stuff that makes u float and stuff.

You just go first down and be sure that when alice comes out that u make sure she can get two the puzzle piece.

You go up as the catapiller and puase alice above the mist and go to tthe right and make the mist go back down and alice falls on the piece and you get to keep it
