Getting through the tower

i have done extremely well thus far with cap. i now find myself stuck on one level of the tower. i have defeated the nazis, and i find i need to go a higher platform. i tried the charge jump, but cap's just not reaching it... how do i get there?

He will get there with a charged jump. just press control down plus b, wait a second and release.
