Who is the bass player to hire

After talking to Desdamona in Tortuga Grand Landshark and following her quest requests - go back to the isle and to the Western Jungle. There's a bridge to build at left that leads to a cave with Buddy Bear inside and you get to do his quests as well; once he gives you the still, take that back to Desdamona, then go to your Oasis and hire a bass player. I think that was the order; I am positive you had to talk to both Desdamona and Buddy Bear and complete their requests. The bridge to Buddy is leading up to getting you to the Southern Jungle and once on Buddy's side of the bridge there is also a tree to fell over a ravine so you can cross to still more stuff.
