You get simoleons for cutting grass...sim cash is golden...and harder to get(if at all)...you get to start with a bit of it-thats it.

I disagree with the above answer. because i started the game a almost a month ago i used up all my sim cash. and today i just noticed i had twenty more then i had before without paying or doing the 'earn' sim cash option. i think they give us some for free once a month. i could be wrong though.

You are wrong. you start with 20 sim cash. you can buy sim cash online (with credit cards, paypal, facebook credits and now you can also buy sim cash cards at walmart, game stop and places like that. a couple months ago they were having big glitches with the game. some people couldn't access their sim accounts for days. the players whose accounts were "under management or construction or however they put it) got free sim cash. my accounts was one of them that was down for a week. i received 140 sim cash for the aggravation of it. and a couple days ago, sims social gave everyone 25 free simoleons. unless they give you sim cash for something, the only other way to get sim cash is buy buying it (and it's expensive i think like 200 sim cash is equivalent to about $40 real money). for some reason they don't allow you to earn it when leveling up, which may change in the future as a lot of disgruntled fans are getting angry about the incessant price hikes of items in the game...

Actually, if you play for 5 days in a row, on the 5th day you get up to 10 simcash. it should be in a pop-up window in the sims social fb game.

If you play five days straight then you can get 10 simcash but if you miss a day then you start over.

You also get 3 free simcash if you ask a friend to play the game, but only if they start playing.
