What resources are needed to build a bridge?
What resources would be needed to build the bridge to get to the treasure across the river? I need one more buried treasure to complete a very early quest and don't know whether to buy the territory north (600k) or south (500k) of the parachuted pilots first. Depends on the time and resources spent on building the bridge. Also will it screw up a few quest if i get the north territory first? I want to complete the 'Find Three Treasures' quest asap as it's stopping me from progressing quicker.

Sand is needed to build bridges. I always try to purchase land based on cost - lowest to highest. And there will be a quest to purchase the land SE of the lake later in the game.

When do Sand Pits become available then? am waiting for enough cash now to fix the Bedouin's hut, and most of my other quests are on hold until I can get sand...

Sand pits are only available after you search the saucer and build up the idol. I think ur housing needs to be up too.
