Where is Black John?
Where do I find Black John? It says "Chase off Black John or he'll give us the plague".

As with all of the pirates, they come at random. Keep playing and at some point in time he will pop up. It took a week or so after getting this mission for him to come bug me. Make sure you have your strongest boat available, he's kinda tough.

Do you have your land cleared around the top right corner of your second island? I think that's where he shows up.

The top right corner of the second island is where the serpent shows up. Clear the land at the top left corner of the second island. Black John should show up in the water there.
