Pirate Workshop
Is the pirate workship in the building nearest the mines on the 2nd Island? How to I open it? What do I do to make the Spider in front of it do something? It just sits there.

Priate workshop on 2nd Island near mine. Click on spider will give you more information what you need. Create club from laboratory, click on spider to get rid of it.

I have club I cleared trees from by base of workshop but can't click on base or spider. Is there a level requirement or some thing else I am missing?

There is a quest for clearing the spider. It should tell you exactly what you need. I dont remember exctly what it was but i think you need a club, iron (you should have picked it up from other quests already) and torches. I may be wrong though so just check the quest that appears.
