How do you unlock the pool and spa?

You have to expand all the way to it and it will let u get it hope I helped you

I expanded all the way to the area and there is no option to unlock like that of the Beach House. Maybe I becomes available when you get the Beach House?! Aaaaargh I'm not sure!

I also unlocked land that lead up to it and the lands beside it; yet to no avail at a new for sale sign-- who's mind do I need to read to unlock it... Or do I need all the land around it blah

I have the same Problem. I got all the land all the way around the spa and I can't get to it. It's frustrating because there really aren't that many goals anymore so the game is becoming very boring.
