Question & Answers
Free food and water - instantly
Just discovered something interesting - I deliberately moved my water tree into an area where it is always 'out of reach' to everybody, by blocking it off with one of my buildings. When either my food or water is down to zero, I tap the water tree - it tells me 'Out of reach' but still instantly gives me one free food and one free water. As soon as I have used that and my food or water are back down to zero, I tap it again - more instant food and water. I seem to be able to repeat this as often as I like. Does this work for anyone else?

I know any of the water items, such as tree or collector, will let me click on them if I have zero food OR water. I don't think it worked when I had none of either, but I will give it a try. Thanks.

I have just collected hundreds of units of wood, ore, stones, flowers, agave leaves, sugar cane, etc. - I can just keep going without ever running out of water or food. The best thing is that the water and food is instant, no waiting the usual 1 hour 22 minutes for the water tree to complete the task. Just move the water tree into a permanent out of range' position, ensure you have at least one person unoccupied somewhere (otherwise you get that little round "no-one available" sign instead of an "out of range" message) and wait until you have run out of either food or water. When clicking on the tree, watch your food and water indicators - as soon as the out of range' message comes up, both your food and water will have gone up by one. Click on water tree, click on task, click on water tree, click on task, repeat. I'm on Level 22, have increased my work force to 30 people and can keep them permanently occupied all at the same time.

It worked! Thank you, Nightowl! I placed my water collector where the gorilla stood, wedged the shower to block the entrance to that area and away I go!

Nightowl you are an absolute legend! This works a treat, even when I have zero food but still tonnes of water. I hadn't been using my water tree at all up to now but this is going to prove invaluable. THANK YOU!
