How do I beat level 8?

I'm up to level 8 in the Last Defender and no matter what weapon or combination of weapons, I cannot get past the Airport mission. Any hint as to how I can get to the next mission?

To beat level 8, stock up and use a lot of "seek and destroy" missiles --they will clean up the air, then use them on tanks, but the light machine gun is perfect for the enemy soldiers. And be very frugal with your air strikes. Hope this helps.
