How do you beat ramp drop on top gear stunt school hd?

If you are stuck on the elite one that i got stuck on... i just tapped the accelaration button once very fast at the beginning used the retro rockets to soften my landing then rolled all the way to the big one then used the rockets to fly up the high ramp

Use sidewinders they don't run on fuel this guy above gave me the wrong answer
