Throw the wrench (monthly weapon) to his head. after some time it will work.

The trick is to get the opening of the wrench over the top of his head. So his head is in the wrench like a clamp. You don't want it stuck in his forehead. Sadly I can't remember if he has to be facing you to get it to work.
