Private Pirate Trophy Quest

I unlocked the Pirate room pet. I have 2 more kids for my hotel. I bought a wooden bridge connector. Why hasn't the quest been completed?

I know this sounds silly, but delete the parrot room and the connectors. then, rebuild them.
