If you expand your hotel and get a prize, it will say it costs treats. when you place it and build it, it doesnt take your treats. its pretty much free.

Level 42, the tasks that they want you to complete for prizes sometimes involve buying a per or room thaty you need to have treats to get

I am at level 44 and have yet to buy any treats....... i have been awarded a few since i started the game....(i think 12 or 13 by now)... i checked everyday for offers where it says click here to get free treats and coins..... a few times i have had offers, but mostly was for downloading and subscribing to magazines etc... not very promising... none there for free that i have found so far.... i have bought each animal that i could afford and have expanded my hotel to the maximum height now..... i think 25 tall or 26 tall...only left or right left.......

i got 5 free treats recently for completing a quest, and have been very patient to let the expansions take the 3 days to complete, they also cost 1,000,000,000 now. i leave my pet hotel open for 10 minutes and have tons of dog cookies that bake......... but they also take a long time to accumulate. i get about 100,000 per balloon now.... higher than the start.... so money grows quickly.......

keep playing and you will earn lots...... just make sure to use the game rooms to make your pets happy and have some babies...... feed them and pop balloons...... visit neighbors each day until maxed out......
