Catch the star strategy
Any tips regarding this? The Ireland catch the star seems impossible to get 3 stars!? I cant even get one star on that map and the difficulty seems to vary greatly from course to course.

I have not been able to get any stars on that challenge either. I've tried changing my swing to a draw, but it's less accurate and more time-consuming. So I've just been putting it off. It may require a specialty ball on every swing in order to do it.

I finally got ONE star on the Ireland Catch the Star Challenge. Basically, time is the biggest factor. At least at the beginning, I try to adjust (roughly) from the tee, instead of zooming in on my target and adjusting from there. As you get closer to getting all four letters, I start to zoom in.
Also, and this goes for any Catch the Star, use your backspin on every shot in order to reduce the time it takes for your ball to stop rolling (and therefore start a new shot).

Best advice I can give is dont be afraid to restart or get out of it completely and get back in until the letters GOLF are close enough together that one ball can get two in one turn. Use the frog and wind ball frequently. If there are clusters of one letter don't even try, just restart.
