Hibernation cave
What is the hibernation cave for, besides the obvious? Is it really worth buying?

Hibernation cave is a great way to breed dragons you don't have room for yet. Breed them, store them, and when you level up and get a new island or more habitat space, you can move them in. Also a good way to earn xp by hatching eggs, then selling the dragons you don't want or need.

If you want to level up, the hibernation cave is a must. You can store your dragons there and move them or sell them later. So yes, you can breed them. If your habitats are full, move one or more of your dragons into your hibernation cave, then you can move dragons from your hibernation cave into your habitats where you are free to breed them or level up. BTW, leveling hybrids count towards more than one shrine. I think it held 25 dragons first, then you can upgrade to 50, then to 100. You have to use gems to upgrade.

The hibernation cave isn't worth the $3million, you can't breed with it, it doesn't change your dragons, it just stores your dragons, if you have enough money to buy one, don't buy it. Buy a habitat instead, because the hibernation cave prevents your dragons from getting income.

Seems to me the only reason to purchase the very expensive hibernation cave is if you hatch some of the very rare dragons and don't have a habitat to put it in. Seems smarter to sell the duplicate dragons and make $$$ until you have enough dragon cash that 3+ million is no big deal.

I would't get it because it is 3.75 million coins and I just get more habitats when i run out of room

You'll need it because when you try to breed for some rare dragons, you will end up failing and getting the so many dragons you already have. When you hatch dragon eggs, you earn more XP. At certain point, you won't be able to get more habitat because it reachs limited amount allowed for that certain level. Trust me you will need it!!!!
