Ask to friend random people then when you complete the mission delete them (my name is sheepycat in the game XD)

A friend on the game isn't a friend in real life... What you should do is tap the meet button on the profile/friends/newsfeed page, this shows you a few active players.... Simply select one and remember their profile name and return to the invite page..... Add in their name and click the send request button.... This sends an invite to that player to be your friend!
