Coin magnet fully upgrade not working

Hello, I bought a new galaxy, and starting play the temple run game. I bought the magnet powerups so I got the coin magnet fully upgraded. I am starting the game, but the coins are not magneted so I have to collect them by tilting. what I have to do in order to collect the coins without tilting? thanks a lot
