Not without mods and I don't know of any mods for iPod minecraft but they may exist anyway

You can't get eggs BUT you can get wheat seeds. All you have to do is build a hoe and tap grass once. The grass will disappear and everyone in a while some seeds will pop up. Sometimes though, the seed will come up, but go back into the block. Then you have to destroy the block and it will be there. Hope this Helped!
