Can we have weapons in survival mode?

Build a craft table and press on it and tap weapons

Build a craft table with 4 wooden blocks, then click on the craft table, then click on the symbol of a weapon, then see the materials you need, to mine stone you need a woeden pickase with you can get the wood from mining trees. I hope thats helpful. I am really stuck myself on minecraft and annoyed too.
