You cannot craft in creative mode but you can in the survival mode.

Find crafting table in craft then build weapons

To get a crafting table you need wood the tap the 3 dots next at the bottom of your screen then in the top left tap craft then scroll down and tap wooden planks then tap where the pic of wood is until you have 4 wooden planks then scroll back up and tap the crafting table then the box with the pic of wooden planks.
