How random are the elves?
Can you accumulate points just by tapping on the elves? or will they stop appearing when you stop throwing things? i'm trying to get past the last stage, but my high score is only 251. now, any time i get near 100, i will miss a shot i shouldn't have missed. i will just wait on elves, but it seems like they stop appearing of i'm not throwing things.

They come at random; there is no specific time they come (for example, one every 2 minutes,one every 30 seconds) but they do pop up the more you throw.
