Pest control mission problem

When I agreed to do the mission of farmer ( Pest Control ) for the first time, I ignored it to do the other mission..however, after I accomplished the other mission then i came back to bring him back 2 raccoon pelts he disappear but the indicator shows that he's in there...can anyone help me please ???
