Is being impossible to grow my baby sim into a toddler!!!
I play Sims freeplay in my iPhone ( level 30 ). Since the last update I'm having a lot of malfunction in the game like: I can't grow my baby into a toddler, I did everything that I was supposed to do, I spent 20 LPs to buy a birthday cake ( that was the price before ) I wait 24 hours and when it was ready I clicked the baby and chose " have a birthday" and my game crashed out and closed, I re open the game, excited to see my toddler and he is still a baby, And every time I click him to have a birthday it asks me for a birthday cake, I tried to bake another cake ( there was a cake in my inventory so I did not pay for the second cake ) and the same thing happened. Now I have a task to grow a baby into a toddler an I'm afraid to use my last 10 LPs. What can I do? Please help!

You have to bake a birthday cake first then interact with baby

So far I have baked 4 cakes and I could not finish the task to grow a baby into a toddler, every time when the cake is done or before it's done my game crashes and I lose all my content, my cakes desappear and I keep losing my LPs. I need help!

The game crashed with me too. Just start baking the cake, and for the ENTIRE duration of cake baking, no matter what, do NOT turn off your iPhone/iPod. Leave it on. You can leave the game but do NOT turn your device off. Okay? And be sure to, after the cake is finished baking, click on it so you get the money and xp for baking it. THEN click on the baby to have its birthday. Ive had it crash twice while cake baking because I turned it off. Just give this way a shot because so far, it's been full proof. :)

Thank you Lucy, it worked for me, finally I have a toddler, the only problem is that before I had a baby girl and now is a boy...I would like to at least change his name, I have a boy with girl's name... Rsrsrsrs is funny but it's ok. What I did also Was delete some apps to have more space in my iPhone, I heard that Sims freeplay take a lot of space and if you have too much applications rumning that causes your game crashes.

It's best to be as careful as ever when doing the last finishing touches to your new born baby. You don't want the girl baby's name saved as a boy one. And also when baking the cake. Make sure your sim is in front of the fridge before clicking on the 'make birthday cake button' then DO NOT switch your apple console off --just in case-- and keep checking if the time is decreasing or if nothing is happening at all. Then maybe your child WILL become a toddler

If you are really stuck and no techniques work, just use 5lp to skip the goal. I had the same problem and had like 2lp. I skipped the goal and have more than 100lp now. I also sent an email to the sims help and they fixed the problem for me later. Have about 10 preeteens now!

I have 2 babies, baked a cake, and couldn't get it to work for their b-day. The cake hovers over the stove, finishesd, and when I click "have b-day", it asks me if I really want to buy a cake. Made a second cake, same problem. I click the cake and it disappears, giving me a bit of xp, but can't use them to turn the babies into toddlers for some reason. Finally, I clicked "yes", I want to buy a cake...and it made one baby a toddler. Will see if I actually get charged...
