New christmas update cheat codes

The only one I found to work it getting more money. First you have to exit the game and double click the home button to clear sims from the history, then you go to settings and change the year, you can leave the wifi on for this or the cell data, then you go into your sims let it load, once its loaded go back to your settings and change the date back to the current and get back on your sims, watch the money rise

This works for me and I've gotten the Christmas update. If you do not get a rise in Simoleons, then you did something wrong. I tried for four days, and finally got it to work after reading JAM's tips.

Double click iPod/iPhone home button
Hold buttons until they shake
Tap out of SIMSFreePlay
Go to settings
General Settings
Date and Time
Change year to any year but 2012, the earliest I could go was 1969.
Go to home screen and open Sims, wait for it to open completely
Double click home button
Go back to settings
General Settings
Date and Time
Change option to "Set Automatically"
Return to SIMS
You SHOULD get a raise of 10,000 Simoleons.

Simoleons Cheat for Christmas update:

- Delete all the apps that you used in history (double click the button in your Iphone/Ipod/Ipad)
- Go to settings
- Go to date and Time
- Change the year to 2010 (but make sure the apps on the history are close including the sims)
- Click the button to return to home
- Click your sims again (wait for it until its on the game)
- Double click the button
- Click the settings
- Change the year to 2012 again
- Double click the button
- Return to your sims and Congrats :)

This is a great cheat and it really works:
1. Close the app completely
2. Go to settings and change the date to 2013 or a date a year from the current date
3. Open up the sims freeplay again
4. You should have about 15000 more simoleons

If your sim's needs have changed then you have done it wrong. Change the date to 2012 and repeat. This also works for new buildings and creating houses/people. You can do this again and again until you have loads of cash. I have noticed that the other cheats don't work but this definitely will.

@Awesome Person, I did your cheat on my Nexus 7 and following things happened:

- Santa disappeared from the Sims tracker and his sleigh from the map,
- The number of Santa tasks remaining went from 20 to 83,
- The amount of time remaining went to 0 minutes and 0 seconds

I don't recommend this!

This really work just do what Adra says except that the year must be 1985 and to get more money plant crops like beans and then get even more if your sim gets stuck on the action then just cancel the action after collecting the crops and you'll still get the money and xp! Hope this helps
