Sims wont get married

My two sims were partners then the guy bought the girl a ring and it says they got married but now its saying that hes married but shes engaged. and i keep clicking the guy and clicking get married but ive done that like 50 times and they wont get married and i need to have a baby but it wont let me how do i fix this ?

If they are egaged get them to keep being romantic with each other until the engaged bar fills up. the more expensive the ring the better chance she says yes. baby: go to the home store infant section buy a crib in place it in the married couples home. then tap it and choose "add a baby" it costs 5 lp

Yeah just be romantic untill it says get married you can do this anywhere then get a crib and add a baby then wait 24hours

It seems to be a bug in the game. I have the same problem & know many others do too. Even after doing everything right; being romantic, filling relationship bars, proposing. the 2 ppl don't have the same relationship status eg: 1's engaged & the other married. This bug prevents them having a baby. I tried again with a different couple but the bug affected them too. (1 is engaged, the other still only a partner). I'm hoping it'll be fixed at the next update as there's no way I can find to fix this. The only positive is if you keep proposing, you get lots of Xp & can level up faster. But no kids :(
