If Tokyo isn't available unil you're at lvl 16 so there's nothing you can do. Sounds like a glitch with the new update. It shouldn't count against since you can't audition for it. When you accept the next job that Max offers you, the Toyko job should disappear from your task listings.

Ive done that and ive just found out that you gain xp by either tapping objects around each place and if you work in starbeams you get xp towards the next level hope this helps :)

Yeah, this is ridiculous. I've worked at Starbeans for 2 days now, and my xp barely moves. I stupidly accepted a Tokyo job, even though i'm only level 15. Now, I can't audition for any other movie, because Max is waiting for me to finish THIS one. This sucks! they shouldn't even make the audition available if you can't fly there....

The same thing happened to me I had to go on a date at restaurant on the coast and to Club Venus because you will get tons of experience points. Yes you will have to spend tons of money. You could also just get experience from touching things and acting at the cheaper spots but it will just take you longer.

As you get higher up in levels, it takes alot more time to fill the XP bar. Unfortunately for the Android users, this sounds like a glitch. I guess the only thing you can do at this point is work at Starbeans, go out on dates, and collect relaxation points until either the time that your project would have expired ends so that you can get offered another project or advance to the next level. I'm hoping the latter is the case bcuz it would truly suck if you had to wait until you actually advanced to lvl 16 in order to complete the project.

Well, just wanted to give you all an update: Got through to tech support, and they told me that they realize this is a problem. They are working on an update to the game that will prevent this from happening. Till then...I've been going back and forth from Starbeans to Club Venus... Can't wait to start making movies again! LOL

Haha the Tokyo thing happened to me too, and I'm on level 13-.- plus, I didn't realize how much money I was spending on dates at the fancy resturaunt petit cheval thing on the coast. So I'm broke and can't film anything under arnie or max yet:/
