Seeing same friends in contacts?

I am only seeing the same 8 friends on my contact list. Does anyone else have this problem? I see the same real friends on My contact list day in and day out and I have a continous internet connection. I have the Toronto update and playing with iOS 5.1.1.

I have the same update. I don't see any friends. I have 120+ friends in Game Center and I never see them.
