Is the alien really that good?

So I unlocked the alien today and its fun and all but sometimes my power shots suck (alien has them all). Do you guys think the alien is good? Any tips to play with it? Thanks

If u wana play with the alien, the better solution is to always use the power when u are in the middle. It would be the best thing to do, it works on all the powers (the most of them)
