I'm past levels but still locked

I have the same problem I'm on level 14 and anything from level twelve and up hasn't unlocked and ive left everyone walking around not doin any tasks hoping that would make the quest pop up but it hasnt if anyone has the answer...

I couldn't get past it's pronounced Nu-cular and that's level 11 now on level 14 and it was stuck on part three of the quest so I put kwiki Mart and the towers in my invatory box waited a few mins took out the mart then towers and it moved me to the next part of the quest but sometimes it's because u gain so many xp points and level up before you get the chance to do quests that unlock other buildings or characters hope this helps you cause I was frustrated with this to... I was on level 16 before most of this stuff started coming in. It is normal to be ahead in the levels

Sending them on a bunch of small quests during the day and a 8/12er overnight is my strategy. I flew thru this game in 3 months but I'm addicted...I think it's different for everyone depending on how often you play
