How do I get past the knight on level 01-08?

I have same question. Level 8 knight with green button on its back. How to kill it? I tried hitting the button with acorn bullets but that did not work.

Collect the acorns and when the soldier is walking away from you shoot one at him, then he will come after you, jump up onto the ledge and he will walk away again jump down and shoot him in the back with another acorn. Keep doing this until you kill him.

Please, I tried to shoot the acorn on his back, But he never died. Maybe there is something else to do?

I agree. I'm on a macbook air. The knight just doesn't die. I've shot him in the back, jumped over and shot him again, jumped over and shot again. I have shot him three times in a row. Is there something else I must do? Or is there a glitch in the software (maybe for macbook air). What platforms are the previous responders playing on?

Same thing on MacBook Pro. He doesn't die, I shot him ten times ! But on my iPhone he dies pretty quickly.
