What you need: Crafting table, 3 wood, 4 sticks, 8 cobble.
1. Craf wooden pickaxe
2. Dig until you find stone
3. Craft a furnace
4. Find coal or cook logs in the furnace
5. Craft stone pickaxe
6. Mine stone for cobblestone
7. Cook cobble in the furnace Have fun!

First you need a pickaxe (doesn't matter what it's made of) then you need to mine stone which can easily be found not too deep undenrground or in the side of mountains. If you mine it you'll get cobble stone. If you want normal stone you have to smelt it in a furnace.
