How do i get glow stone and were do i find the suplies for it

In 0.5.0 mojang added a nether reactor. Build it use iy and you wil get glowstone.

Ok, so on a 3x3 grid of ground, put a gold block at each of the corners. Then fill the five spaces left with cobblestone. Second layer: four pieces of cobblestone on top of each of the gold blocks, and the nether reactor core (NRC) in the middle. Third layer: piece of cobblestone on top of the nether reactor (it'll say "not the correct placement", but don't worry) then a piece of cobblestone on the sides of the piece on top of the NRC. Then go onto the ground and hit the NRC. Everything will go dark, and then a fortress made of obsidian will spawn. You'll be inside of it. For the first time, I'd suggest going on peaceful. The zombie pigmen are hard to survive. Stuff like cacti, flowers, sugarcane, melon seeds, and glow stone dust will start spawning on the ground. If you want the obsidian, you're gonna have to bring a diamond pickaxe, but if you just want the stuff that spawns, don't worry. The fortress disintegrates partially after about a minute.

No no no ya got to go to the seed 2,6,9 then go to the tallest mountain then mine or dig like 40 blocks or more once your there press creat then press pick ax but have the material ready keep going left then if you find gold, diamon, or iron maby coal go back up then to to a sandy spot and put gold Dimond or iron around it then you mine one block down and put a torch you will be trance ported to the glowstone dust this is a cheat I found out yesterday hope it works I know it will

Use the seed 0.4.0 right under where you spawn there is gold iron coal and diamonds
