Man stuck in the Coffin level 9?

My mum is stuck on level 9 where there is a man in a glass box/coffin. She has done everything and even spent every coin she has on the nickel mine thingy. Well, now the box won't open... anybody know how i can help her? Thanks very much... greatly appreciated!! :D

Your reward is part of the map. Disappointing but necessary to move on. Be sure you've done everything on quest list that u can at each level and then just keep taking voyages and expanding.
