Every area is hidden
I'm on level 39 and have not had access to any new areas for about the last 7 or 8 levels. When will new areas open to explore? I'm running out of room and the game has started to become boring without any new areas to explore.

Some areas are unlocked by buying merchants. This cleared up two areas of land for me

I am having the same problem - I have "hidden" areas that I can't explore. I think I have kept up with all the quests so it can't be that that unlocks them. Maybe I need to buy more merchants to unlock the hidden areas.
